Thing 6

Thing 6
I played with several of the mash-ups like Mappr, Flickr Color Pickr, and visited FD Toys.  I did create a trading card using Trading Card Maker. I have attached it, this is my car that I have restored and I LOVE it very much.  I really have taken many cruises to rid my self of all my worries temporarily. I was very surprised and pleased at how easy and user friendly it was.  I thought of may ideas on using these cards in the library.  The kids could read a biography and create a card about the person.  After talking about biography and autobiography they could write an autobiography and then create a card about themselves. Also they could create cards about main characters in a book.

Thing # 5
I got lost in flickr I finally just had to make myself quit.  I will definitely  revisit to play and set up a place for my photos.  I found a group called "I am a librarian" where you post a picture of you when you are most unlike a librarian, I think I will take a picture of me and the 18 wheeler I drive and post it on there.  It is good to have another place to look for pictures and know that you are within copy right laws.

Having fun moving on:)

Thing #3

Setting up the blog was harder than I thought. Working with friends helped immensely by making the roadblocks manageable and even fun to get through. I was confused with the email addresses, I had a yahoo account but had to set up a google account and then it asked for my yahoo account. I still don't understand why it did all of that but it works now and I am happy :).

Setting up and creating my avatar was fun! The only trouble we had was downloading it into our blog, we had to call for help and found that we needed to download as a picture instead of an html java script.

Thing #2

Of the 7 1/2 habits the one that I would consider the easiest is #7, teach or mentor others. If I have a general idea of how things work I enjoy sharing and showing others and I always learn more from my students discovery or my own discovery in ansewering question. Anytime you get prepared to teach you become more knowledgeable on the topic.

The hardest of the 7 1/2 habits the one that I would consider the hardest is #1, begin with the end in mind. Sometimes it is difficult for me to see the whole picture. I am a step by step person. Once I complete all of the steps then then I is see the WOW!
